New Sem is going to start
The two-months-holidays seem like very short for me. There is still some undone workload being left back home, and now have to come back for event preparation.
Though just leaving home for 2 days, feel homesick again...
This holidays didn't have chance (time) to go KL. Hope can make it this weekend.

Great Outward Bound Week!!!
was away to Outward Bound Program from 7th to 13th Dec.
enjoy it very much and learn+explore alot of new and exciting experience!!!
though, my skin got tanning, and feeling 'tighting', like going to crack, i feel my protection efforts were much than many others. some of my groupmates even called me 'Puteri Lilin'. (was treated as princess leh! hehe xP)
the main reason of my wonderful experience is my whole teammates are funny people, we got along well and were having great fun throughout the week!!! xD
below are the summary of what I learned and did throughout the 7 days.
and Kim Jung Kun promised to upload the pics in FB soon!!!
Day 1
as followed the instruction from letter, I reached there at 2.30pm.
fill in many forms and they take away my handphone T.T
my group called "Tahan" and consisted of mainly Final Yr seniors. 4 gals 7 guys. I'm glad that there are 4 strong Chinese guys in my group. Which means I'm not going to have too tough moment during the programme. (and it came out to be true) Lol...
Day 2
the morning, we reached the hall 6mins late than 6.30am.
was being scolded to make 120 times 'jumping jack'. too long time not getting any exercise, my stamina and my mental were not ready for it. end up we didn't do well and were asked to redo until 300++ times... was not a good experience... :'(
playing a game which we need to figure out the rules on our own, too bad, by the end of the game my group couldn't succeed in the game...
after the game was learning few techniques of knotting, which we need for our sailing, setting up whale, setting up tent, etc... and later we were taught how to make a tent and got some camp out advices.
after lunch, was being introduced to the whaler's equipment and skills of whaling... rowing near the shore and having water confidence session, which we were asked to jump down water from the rotarian boat.
at night, start planning and preparing for our expedition the next day.
Day 3
the morning, we learned some basic sailing skills.
after lunch, we boarded our camping equipments and magic bags into the boat and started our rowing journey to Kg Sempit, which is near to Damai Laut. We were lucky that we were following the wind direction. the 7km routine takes about 1.5++ hours... :)
once we reached, the guys set up the tents, find firewoods, start up fire, while gals were doing cooking work.
after bathing beside the well (when the guys had been long waiting for gals), we started our dinner. when we were done, we wash our utensil with the seasand and seawater.
then, cook supper and prepare for the pack lunch of next day.
that night, many mosquitoes were flying around me, so i took out my sleeping bag. still, i could listen the annoying creatures is singing besides my ears, so i had to cover up my whole body and do sauna in the bag. no rain for the night, good and bad for me...
Day 4
woke up at 5.30am to make milo for breakfast. then preparing to start our expedition back. this time, we need to round Pangkor Island (to SPK-Teluk Dalam-Teluk Nipah-Pasir Bogak-Teluk Segadas) before turning back to OBS. it was 25++km totally if following the shoreline all the way. We were lucky that we could sail from SPK until Teluk Nipah. During the beginning rowing, I promised myself to row all the way back without changing with others. But when we were reaching Pasir Bogak, I couldn't stand anymore, so i rested ("snake-ing") to control the whaler's direction until we left the dip of the island.
and finally we reached OBS at 1pm, which was the first team to reach back. after washing the equipments, we went back rest and nap....
after dinner, playing 'traffic jam' and my groupmates were too clever to think of discussing strategy on table instead of trials and errors method. and finally we made it!!! Bravo to Tahan Group!!!
Day 5
the morning we learned techniques of canoeing. I'm glad to have Zhan Peng as my partner, which could save alot of my energy. hehe xP
same things to prepare for our camp out. And we tried to kayak in diamond formation to cross over to Teluk Segadas in Pangkor, which took about 7km. The current came from our side and we got drifted easily. Luckily both of us could co-operate quite well. At the beginning we were at the front. Later on we became lazy and canoe slowly. Haha… And chat with Ashlee them on the way, side by side. It was fun! >.<
Upon reaching, the wave became fiercer, and I was quite worried to keep on canoeing. Luckily my partner was calm enough and we reach there safely finally.
Same things to do—set up tent, build fire, cooking, etc… And this time we had a more proper toilet to bath and clean ourselves. The seawater is crystal clear and the sand is salty white. I seldom visit to such clean and beautiful beach in my own island. xP
At night, we laid down on the beach and watched to the sky. There was no cloud in the sky and the stars are shinning brightly and spreading all over the sky. They were so beautiful and this was the 2nd most amount of stars I have been watching until now. Last time the most amount of stars I watched was during NS, when we camp in the forest.
When I fell asleep, I could hear Ashlee said she saw meteors passing by. With my hard efforts, I tried to open my eyes widely to wait for meteors. She could always see meteors flashing over, but at the beginning, I could not see any even she saw them. But I didn’t give up. I tried to open my eyes widely and paid more attention. Yes!!! Finally I saw meteors flashed by one by one. This was the first time I enjoy watching meteors. But is not meteor rain, just once in a while seeing one passing over, some were short and some were longer abit. Still I felt so lucky and managed to make a small wish. ^^
Day 6
Staying awake until 6am the next morning. Preparing to go back OBS.
This time gotta canoe through Pulau Katak, which made our distance becomes 16km (if not mistaken). Along the way, I saw some jelly fishes passing by my side. The kayak is so low and I can feel the jelly fish just beside me, the feeling is quite scary… Upon reaching Pulau Katak, we stopped awhile to eat apple. >.<>
When we passing by Teluk Batik Beach, the current was drifting us to the right. So we tried our best to keep to the left always. And we seem to be distanced from our group quite far away as they were drifted by the current, which made them to kayak longer distance. Maybe my partner felt not so good to leave our group so far away, so finally we kayak back to the group even if it was in longer routine. And my partner was so kind that he wish to help the group who were both exhausted and seem didn’t manage to canoe anymore. He suggested we exchange partner. When the malay guy came behind me, I feel so hard to control the direction. Always get drifted to the right and cant turn back. So had to hold the water, which made my momentum lost. And I had to kayak all over again. It was energy wasting action. During that time, how I wished I didn’t change partner. And my teammates saw me was having hard time, so we formed rafting and change partner again. This time round was better but my new partner was exhausted too. But at least I didn’t lose control of direction. And thanks to Zhan Peng and Dickson who tried to help me to control direction by crashing their canoes with mine. And finally we felt so thankful to have reach OBS safely without experiencing capsizing.
The night was a so-called BBQ night. Not as happening as I expected. After that I went sleeping quite early, wishing the night faster pass so I could get back my handphone soon. Haha…
And friends, I really recommend you guys to go OBS at least for the 7days program. You would experience a lot of new things. I was enjoying it very very much. And I guess you will enjoy as well. ^_^
